I've packed my gear, & I'm ready to go,

There's things to see, & things I want to know,

The things I've seen, are old to me now

Somehow --------

So I'll be on my way,

For now --------

 I don't know where I'm goin,

 And there ain't no way of knowin',

 Where I'll be -------- tomorrow

I'll walk through pines & sleep in the snow,

I'll wash my face, in a creek clear & cold,

I'll talk to people that I've never seen,

Before --------

Oh I'll be on my way,

For shure --------

I'll pass through desert, & sleep in the sand,

I'll bathe in rivers, & live off the land,

I'll close my eyes & think of where I've been,
